🔹 Arrival at the village of Tiwanaku

Later, we will explore the archaeological site, one of the most important in Bolivia and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On this tour, our specialized guide will explain the function, mythology, and structure of:

- Sun Gate: An emblematic monument carved from a single piece of andesite stone, featuring the figure of the god Wiracocha.
- Akapana Pyramid: A seven-level structure with underground chambers and drainage channels.
- Semi-Subterranean Temple: Ceremonial enclosure surrounded by embedded nail heads, symbols of ancestral worship.
- Pumapunku: One of the enigmas of Andean archaeology, with perfectly carved and aligned blocks that defy known techniques of the time.
🔹 Traditional lunch in the village of Tiahuanaco
After the visit, we will enjoy a traditional Andean lunch at a local restaurant. Authentic flavors of the highlands such as quinoa soup, llama jerky, or lake trout.
